If you're...The entire "secret list" process is B.S. If you're charged with a crime, there's a warrant issued. That's a list. It's public and verifiable, for the most part.
If there has been no crime committed, why do we need a list? And a secret list only adds to the temptation to creep from terrorists to political enemies.
Think about it: how many people do we need watching over our shoulders to protect us?
Adm. Chertoff and his ilk, while well-meaning, are simply wooly-minded when it comes to this.
Unindicted co-conspirators on this front are the members of the traveling public, who put up with this nonsense.
I suggest that everyone be allowed to come aboard the aircraft with knives and guns. An armed society is a polite society, IMHO.Scott McMurrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12903491444878100560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35971466.post-77129270860325085102008-10-23T00:22:00.000-07:002008-10-23T00:22:00.000-07:0095% of this watch-list is fueled "purely" by bias,...95% of this watch-list is fueled "purely" by bias, suspicion and paranoia.

Your name is placed on the current 12 000 strong "scrutiny-list" if you merely ENTER the U.S as someone from the Arab world.

People being incorrectly flagged like this is nothing short of stupidity.

Whoever is doing their investigation have less investigation skills and IQ put together than the ticket-vendor at a Disney World kiddies ride.

The kind of incidents like the above are nothing to be laughed at... they seriously/permanently impact "other" people's lives... and all because of incompetency coming from the U.S investigation teams.

"Err... im sorry mam, we're gonna have to take your infant in for questioning... he be a terrorist according to here this piece of paper over here."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35971466.post-59540368829252028132008-10-22T19:53:00.000-07:002008-10-22T19:53:00.000-07:00It's a good thing we grew government under Bush to...It's a good thing we grew government under Bush to include the new Homeland Security Defense... it sounds like they have their hands full. We've been lied to too many times by our government.
Conveniently no mentioning was made that our emails and telephone conversations are also monitored by Homeland Security.

Whatever happened to the saying we were taught in 5th grade: "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death" ?ddavidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00014573309676224707noreply@blogger.com
