Our laws, contrary to what you think, are not subject to those in your own country.
Our law provides for compensation when a person's honor was violated. In your case, you have referred to our country, and therefore can not happen a subjective action.
But I would like to say that if in your country things were serious, you would be duly punished by the laws of their own country for having created a controversy between two great nations. In observation of Brazilian cults, you are a journalist of little value, and your opinion about our country is not interesting.
Ouvir
Ler foneticamente
Dicionário - Ver dicionário detalhado

Marcelo Augusto PedromônicoAdvogados Trabalhistashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17761209079226881119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35971466.post-7301381445687620832010-11-22T14:47:53.004-07:002010-11-22T14:47:53.004-07:00Brazilians are like siblings; they can criticize t...Brazilians are like siblings; they can criticize themselves, but when any other person does, is in trouble. The truth is, we take it personally and we should use it to stand up against the government, who is not investing our money to improve our obsolete system.

Nevertheless, good to see you won the case. Take it as an opportunity to show people what's been happening around the world - specially in South America, related to nepotism and corruption.

A good example: I don't know how far you read about the world news, but Estadao newspaper, who were forbidden to publish anything about the corruption and nepotism involving the formal Brazilian president Jose Sarney - already 479 days as of today and they did not do anything so far - all under the eyes of people who theoretically are doing a great job in Brazil.
